    I never made a fish soup before and thought it would be very difficult to cook a good one the first time round.

    I was pleasantly surprised with results, however, after 1st attempt on this little gem.

    * Ready in: 45 mins (15 mins Prep – 30 mins Cook, excluding fish stock), 6 servings. 
  • Spicy Carrot and Coriander Soup No 1

    Suitable for vegetarians and very easy to cook.

     
  • Chunky Mushroom Soup

    This one is quite filling and may be served on its own, as a vegetarian dish, provided you use veg. stock and oil.
  • Rich Tomato Soup with Pesto

    Another good one to warm you up.

    Very easy to cook, rich and tasty.
  • Leek and Potato Soup

    I’m bonkers about soups recently or maybe it’s just that time of year when you need more hot fluids…:)

    Either way, I found “Leek and potato soup” quite satisfying and flavoursome.

    It’s very easy to make and any variation to fulfil your own liking works really well.

Beef Stew by Jamie Oliver – tried & tested

I found this recipe on Jamie Oliver’s web page and decided to give it a try, since it had so fragrant ingredients and promised a pleasant variety to rather dull beef dish.

I didn’t have a squash nor the artichokes hence hadn’t use them in my cooking but everything else -  just as recommended.

I have to admit to one of my addictions, buying from eBay.

In most cases, I can trust my choices and good will of sellers.

Things I buy vary from small items, like cosmetics and beauty products, through clothes, electronics, small home appliances, garden plants, fitness equipment (like treadmill), to furniture, largest of which was a sofa-bed with self-collection option.
