Basic Choux Pastry Dough

Ingredients
- 1⁄2cbutter
- 1cwater
- 1call-purpose flour
- 4eggs
- 1⁄4tspsalt
Instructions
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter in the water. Add salt and flour, and stir until a sticky
batter is formed. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until the batter is smooth.
Makes enough dough for 8 medium-sized pastries.
Scoop the dough with a spoon and place on parchment lined baking sheet in at least 3 cm
intervals to let the pastries puff and expand.
Bake for 30-35 min. in pre-heated oven to 200 C degrees.
Puncture each pastry with tooth pick to let the steam out without making the pastries soggy.
When cool, fill them with whipped cream or vanilla castard and dast with icing sugar. Enjoy!
