Best raw fresh ingredients salad to accompany any meat dish and replenish your vitamins. Quite possibly the best winter salad with plenty of Vit. C and Beta Carotene to keep you going on those dark cold days…and looks cheerfully too 
Place sliced leeks into a salad bowl, sprinkle with little salt and give it a good squeeze all over to release juices and to soften its fibers. Add grated carrots and apple, mix it well and sprinkle with black pepper. Add mayo, mix it well again and there you have it: refreshing and aromatic salad, delicious and healthy.
